Halcyon In Kaleidoscope features irregular and fragmentary writings - on ideas and values, places and people - which evolve over time into mini essais, paying humble homage to the peerless founder of the genre. The kaleidoscope is Halcyon's prime metaphor, viewing the world through ever-moving lenses.

In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony - William Henry Channing, 1810-1884, American Writer

Quote 598

The state of your life is nothing more than a reflection of your state of mind - Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

The single most important agenda that true ecologists everywhere ought to be engaged in, namely: the growth and evolution and development of interior consciousness itself. Gaia's main problems are not industrialization, ozone depletion, overpopulation, or resource depletion. Gaia's main problem is the lack of mutual understanding and mutual agreement - Ken Wilber, A Brief History of Everything
