A Mundane Comedy is Dom Kelleher's new book, which will be published in 2025. The introduction is available here and further extracts will appear on this site and on social media in the coming months.

Water

Quote 2987

There is . . . a human drama that rarely gets headlines. . . . We have 3 billion people in the world who live on under $2 a day. We have 1.3 billion people that live on under $1 a day. We have 1.5 billion people who don't have access to clean water. We have another 2 billion who don't have power. We're losing forests at the rate of an acre a second . . . In another 30 years; we're going to need twice the food, with no greater arable land - former World Bank President Jim Wolfensohn
